A certified translation is essential if a document needs to be legally valid abroad or before foreign authorities. In such cases, a standard translation is not enough; you require a certified translation prepared by a qualified professional.
A certified translation must meet specific formal requirements to ensure legal validity. Once completed, the translation is securely bound to the original (or a notarized copy) and stamped and signed by the certified translator. The translation also includes a translator's affidavit, which confirms its accuracy and includes the date, location, and the name and registration number of the translator as listed with the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic.

Certified translation pricing
- We offer competitive rates for certified translations:
- Certified translations to and from all common languages - €30 excl. VAT per standard page, for a scope of 1 - 3 pages.
- If the text for a certified translation exceeds 250 words per page = 1 standard page, we will calculate the price based on the number of standard pages.
- The price per standard page for certified translations applies even if the text does not reach a full standard page. In such cases, the price is rounded up to the nearest whole page.

What is the process for a certified translation?
- Deliver the document in person or via email
- We will prepare and send you a no-obligation price quote. On business days, we will respond within a few minutes
- New customers are required to pay a deposit
- You can pick up the translated document in person, or we can deliver it by mail or another agreed-upon method
- Certified translation from and into English and German for up to three standard pages within 24 hours on business days at no extra charge
